I did wonder if that had something to do with the huge change in every character voice but Caleana (forgive my spelling this is an audiobook after all!) I'm hoping as the rest of the audiobooks are from the original publisher date there won't be another inconsistency. I was a bit thrown by the change in character voices a whole book in but I noticed this version was published this year and my throne of glass audiobook is from 2014 or something. So much happened, there was a lot of character development and I really enjoyed the story. This one, though, was somehow better than the last one and it's led so well into the next book.
